#ClassicsTober day 31: SARCOPHAGUS (the last prompt!)

I didn’t actually time this to coincide with the 100th anniversary of Howard Carter’s disturbing of Tutankhamun’s tomb, but it certainly inspired me. I’ve got complicated feelings about ancient people as museum exhibits, which I might write about later…

I hadn’t drawn a Greek Myth Chicken so far this year so I took the opportunity! (It’s not actually any kind of statement – if you’re not familiar with my Greek Myth Chickens, see them here) And as it’s Halloween, I’ve done a Hammer Horror mummy version
